- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★This is a small center run by the University of Georgia. Inside you will find a touch tank with local salt water creatures. Fish tanks. Displays with turtles and snakes. Displays of local sea shells. They pack quite a bit of material and animals into their space. Great for a hour of entertainment, especially for the young crowd. Kayak tours are offered. Where a local guide will take you into the marsh that surrounds the island. They also rent kayaks for local use.By Lara Morgan, June 15, 2017
